Deleting the dns/*.txt file should force a rebuild.
For non-default ip addresses you'd normally use entries in a config/ip file.
What follows is undocumented, afaik. To maintain automatic rebuilds...
If you only want to add records to the standard set, you can use another .txt file in /config/dns (I've only tested with temp-test-extra-dns.txt but a domain-specific name would make things easier to track).
However, if you want to remove any of the default records, things could be trickier. (Untested)
