The logging is fine now, and the memory hogging has gone away, but I just tried to enable stats on a domion by removing the config/no-stats file - and nothing happened.
Is there something else I have to do?
Found the problem! The logging doesn't create the public/logs directory. You have to create that for it first.I did it for two sites and the logging started, and this morning there are stats. However, one of the two creates log files with the S bit set, and the other didn't. Wonder what's different?
Tried the Go logger on Jessie - but seems to result in a "high" load (3-4, although various numbers from vmstat/htop/atop were relatively low) - so I'll assume it's doing some sort of non-buffered write that's causing the server to fsync all the time?
