How to check mail quotas?

#1

From time to time, however generous the quota, people have their mailbox fill up and then incoing mails are rejected. Users are not aware of a problem.

It would be really good if there was a scheduled task that ran once a day that told Admin about mailboxes that were over quota or were approaching their limit.

Is there an easy way to do ths?

I just use du -sh /srv/domain/mailboxes/username to see how much space someone is using. Could be automated via cron to check all/some accounts.

There are hundreds of mailboxes with varying quotas. I just want to know when there is a problem.

This sounds like a useful feature to have - I’ll add it to the feature list for the next version of Sympl.
