Having to start over, I forgot to select a category for the forum, and lost the entire post, I’ll have to brief this time, my apologies.
I’ve put DKIM on one of my domains (along with the DMARC and SPF - set to default), and now when I send an email the exim4 log is complaining about
failed to expand dkim_private_key: failed to open /srv/VHOST/config/dkim.key: Permission denied
The private key file exists in that place, it has admin RW owner-only permissions, group and world have nothing, and then my mails from the domain are marked as spam by google. In fact, after a quick mx check google are telling me that none of these things are setup…
I followed this guide and run
sudo symbiosis-dns-generate --verbose but it came back with
Domain: domain.com Could not find checksum or big warning. Not updating snippet, as it has been edited by hand. Writing data to /root/blahblah Renaming /root/blahblah to /root/blahblah
And suchforth, so I’ve obviously stumbled somewhere here, any help greatly appreciated.
Further. Reviewing what I’ve noted thus far, it would appear that the DNS hasn’t been updated? I’m not sure, given that Google doesn’t think I have any of these things, it would appear so. In which case, my other configuration changes perhaps affected this?
Also, when generating the rsa key, at no point did I generate a public key, which seems a bit weird.
