Bigv client update fails - The repository 'http://client.bigv.io/apt ./ Release' does not have a Release file

#1

When I use “apt-get update” I get the following errors

W: The repository ‘http://client.bigv.io/apt ./ Release’ does not have a Release file.
N: Data from such a repository can’t be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
E: Failed to fetch http://client.bigv.io/apt/./Packages 410 Gone [IP: 80.68.81.80 80]
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I understand that there is a new client but it is still flagged as alpha software. Has the “bigv” client been withdrawn totally now?

Regards

Tony

Yes, the old client has now been retired in favour of the new, which has mistakenly flagged as “alpha” in our documentation! We’re now on version 1 of our spangly new client, written in Go.

Best wishes,
