We are delighted to announce that we now provide Backups for our Cloud Servers! Backups are available from today in the Bytemark Panel and Command Line Client. More details about Bytemark Cloud Backups can be found on our blog.
The development of Backups has involved a lot of customer feedback and product testing. Your involvement has crucially shaped the direction of what and how we built this feature — and will determine how we continue to do so.
We want to know what you think! We hope that you find our Cloud Server Backups to be easy-to-use, a meaningful addition to your workflow and an overall delightful experience. To keep improving, we need to hear from you, and we've provided several ways you might do that:

Email your feedback to our Product Team at email@example.com
Join our research recruitment pool! If you'd like to give more regular feedback, become a paid product tester or find out other ways to get involved in our research & development process, please email our Research Manager (that's me!) at firstname.lastname@example.org
You will also see that you can send feedback to us directy in the Panel, using the 'Feedback' button on the page and in the Backups Beta tab.
What sorts of things do we want to know?
Anything and everything! We're most interested in:
- Anything that is awkward to use, confusing, or visually messy.
- Anything that is delightful, slick or useful (so we can do more like this).
- Thoughts or questions about our pricing for backups.
- Bug reports
- Feature requests
- Technical concerns
If you feel like sharing, it also greatly helps us to know how you are using backups, what problems you're trying to solve, or a general idea of the work you're doing. This is so we can design things with you in mind, rather than our best guesses!
